Firm Philosophy

Most legal problems involve financial and emotional issues that can dramatically affect people's lives. Being involved in the legal system can be a stressful, frustrating, and intimidating experience for non-lawyers-and not just for the people who have been drawn into legal conflicts. Their families face hardships and difficult decisions as well.

My staff and I are committed to skillfully representing you throughout your legal experience. My life experiences and more than twenty-five years of legal practice have given me the expertise and empathy necessary to be genuinely concerned about the well-being of each of my clients. I strive to nurture a personal relationship with all of my clients, and I give all of them my personal attention. You can be assured that I will be there when you need me. When you hire me, you will be able to place your full trust that we will work through whatever your problem is-together. I know that this works, because the majority of my clients come to me recommended by someone else that I've helped out before.

I will do everything necessary to keep you informed and knowledgeable about your particular legal problem. That means that I stress personal attention, responsiveness, and accessibility: I listen to you. I return your phone calls promptly. I regularly report to you on the status and progress of your case. I stress a straightforward, plain-speaking approach that will help you make decisions that resolve your case in a manner that is fair, expeditious, and cost-effective.

I realize that nearly all legal problems involve a great deal of acrimony and tension. My clients know that they are not "going it alone"-they have the assurance and relief that come from knowing that I will be in your corner. You can rest assured that if we cannot avoid a trial, I will be an aggressive courtroom advocate for your rights and your interests. I have a reputation for effectiveness-for getting favorable results.
